SUNDAY

Young (and not so young) Adult Bible Study & Discussion Group Sundays, 9:45 – 10:40 a.m. @ Amity Parlor.  Brand new class kicks off 9/7.  Pastor Tuck Taylor Bounds is coming in without a planned agenda and will “lead” the group in defining that together.  Tuck’s one goal is to provide a place and space to journey closer to God and to one another and there are so many ways to do that.  Group will study, fellowship, and engage in hands-on ministry.      

Adult Bible Study - New Community Sundays, 9:45 – 10:40 a.m. @ Amity. 

UMC Bishops write on Gospels, Acts, and Paul’s Letters as seen through the lens of community.  Facilitated by Bob Klatt and Sybil Skakle.

Serving from the Heart Sunday evenings, 5-6 p.m., starting September 7th
Eight session church-wide study to help us uncover our spiritual gifts, talents, interests and traits and connect individuals with ministries for which they are best suited.  Facilitated by Pastor Tuck Taylor Bounds.  Contact church office 967-7546

 Great Debaters  5:30 p.m., September 21, Dinner and a movie – The Great Debaters,    www.thegreatdebatersmovie.com is an inspirational movie starring Denzel Washington and made in 2007.  Mark your calendars and consider inviting your extended family, friends, and acquaintances for inspiration, fun and fellowship. Donations will support missions.
